Kept me entertained for a few hours even though I'm awful at physics based platforming. Took me 3 games before I even realized I had objectives because it was just so much fun running around and dabbing while yeeting crates across the map. Some bugs with the ragdolls and part of my body falling through the platform and then getting launched into the air, but overall good fun for a small indie platformer. 10/10, would dab on a construction site again.
Hey! Thanks man, appreciate your positivity and glad you had fun with the game. Couple of questions around your experience - Would that be when your character falls through the platform but his feet get stuck? Cause that's something we are working on. Also, when you say launching into the air, where you jumping on a held item by chance?
Yeah that's the one. And tbh getting launched into the air, I couldn't replicate, so I don't know what exactly happened. But it very well could have been that. I'll try it and get back to you.
The game completely matches its name! It is truly total chaos. Took me a couple of games to get used to the movement and by that point I was tilted enough to start screaming at my screen.
It feels very satisfying completing the goals, which made me want to play again and again!
Construction Chaos has potential, but in its current alpha release state it falls a bit short. While the 2D ragdoll physics are fun, there are a few areas that could use improvement, especially around the interactions with platforms. Collaborating with friends to complete the common objective within the time limit is a cool idea, and the addition of individual goals for points adds a layer of excitement. However, a suggestion is that the group objective timer and individual objective timer should be different, allowing players to complete last-second personal goals after the group objective is met. I suggest implementing a longer countdown for the group objective, ideally around 20 seconds or more. Would also like to see some more levels! Looking forward to the next release.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you think the idea has potential. We can confirm that many of the things you have suggested are already coming in the next release - including one-way platforms, improvements to the physics and at least 1 new level.
